Collectible Solutions is proud to offer you the chance to evaluate SoftBase/Collectors Edition on a trial basis absolutely free of charge!  This trial version of the program is fully functional, the only restriction is you are limited to adding only twenty items to the database.  When you decide to continue using SoftBase, you can purchase it online and you will be sent via email a registration code that removes the twenty item restriction. Before you download the trial version, please be sure that your computer meets the following system requirements.  To use SoftBase/Collectors Edition you will need a computer that has Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10.  The minimum screen resolution required is 800 by 600 pixels. To download the trial version, 10.5 megabytes (about 30 minutes with a 28.8K modem, 15 minutes with a 56.6 modem, under a minute with Cable or DSL), simply click the "Download Trial Version" button below and save the file to your hard disk. To install the trial version after downloading, click the Windows Start button and select Run... from the menu.  In the space provided in the Run dialog enter the full pathname of where you downloaded the file along with it's name: SBTrial.exe (for example C:\My Documents\SBTrial.exe), then click the OK button.  (You can also double-click the file in the Windows explorer).  This will start the installation program, which will guide you through the necessary steps to install SoftBase/Collectors Edition. Once installation is complete and you have restarted your computer, you can start SoftBase/Collectors Edition by clicking the 'Start' button and selecting 'Programs' then 'Collectible Solutions' then 'SoftBase Collectors Edition'.  Please note that all documentation is contained in the help file.  Just press the F1 key anywhere within the program to start the help system.
